We’ve been named as a finalist in the Building Controls Industry Association Awards in recognition of the major role we played in establishing the UK’s first test centre for the Building Controls Professional Assessment (BCPA).

We have been named as a finalist in the Contribution to Training Award category after an independent judging panel, made up of building control industry experts, the media, University College London and independent engineering specialists, spent the day analysing and discussing every entry.

The outright winners will be announced and presented with a fabulous award during the Gala Awards ceremony being held at the Chesford Grange Hotel in Kenilworth on Thursday May 14.

Each finalist will be invited up on stage to be presented with a framed certificate by BBC News anchor Babita Sharma who is hosting the awards evening.

We’ve played a major role in establishing the UK’s first test centre for the Building Controls Professional Assessment (BCPA) at our Gloucester centre.

This new development is aimed at apprentices and experienced operatives alike. The training team here at Clarkson Evans brought their in-depth knowledge of assessment methods to this project, helping to create a quality test centre that is setting high standards for the whole industry.

Our Head of training, Jon Dicken said: “Our pedigree as a first class training provider and assessment centre meant that we were approached to deliver on this exciting project. We are delighted that our expertise has resulted in us being short listed as a finalist in the Contribution to Training category.”
