We’ve been praised for our outstanding performance in health and safety by national house builder Barratt David Wilson Homes.

The award was presented by Barratt David Wilson Homes Exeter Managing Director Paul Moran and Operations Director Russell Glimstead to our Commercial Director, Tim Bisp, at a recent sub contractors’ seminar in Exeter, with Clarkson Evans being praised for its considerable efforts in achieving this “outstanding performance.”

We’ve been working with Barratt David Wilson Homes Exeter on numerous prestigious sites over the past six years.

“We take our health and safety responsibilities on site very seriously indeed and it is very satisfying that our longstanding and valued customer Barratt David Wilson Homes Exeter has recognised this,” said Tim Bisp.

“This award was completely out of the blue and our site staff are pleased that the efforts they make to reduce accidents at work is valued by our customers,” he added.

Health and safety awareness is an integral part of the training received by all staff here at Clarkson Evans. Each electrical apprentice covers site health and safety within their training and this is regularly updated as they develop in their careers.

We’ve been awarded a Gold Award from RoSPA, The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, for the past eight years – further evidence that we’re maintaining the high standards of health and safety management that is so important in the construction industry.
