City & Guilds 2394-2395 new 502 online assessment FAQ’S

Overview

The City & Guilds 2395 is one of two qualifications which together have replaced the old 2391 qualification (the other qualification is the 2394). The 2395 covers the principles, practices and legislation for periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations.

This theory course is delivered over four days and, like many training providers, we have combined the content for the 2394 and 2395 to create one course.

To achieve both qualifications you will need to undertake additional assessments. You can choose to complete either just one or both of the qualifications. For delegates who want to have their testing qualifications added to their JIB cards, it’s important to note that the 2394 and 2395 cannot be added as a stand alone qualifications – you would need to achieve both.

The course is entirely theory-based. However, if you need to brush up on your practical testing skills before taking the 2395 practical assessment, we do offer a separate practical training day.
