This one day course is suitable for those who undertake inspection and testing of electrical equipment. The course includes a practical exercise using test equipments. Assessment is a one hour open book, multiple choice examination taken online.

This four day course is intended for anyone who requires a basic knowledge of the 16th Edition Wiring Regulations. A basic knowledge of electrical installations is advantageous. Assessment is a 2 hour open book, multiple choice examination taken online.

This three day theory based course is aimed at those with previous experience of inspection and testing and a good working knowledge of the wiring regulations. The course is assessed by a 2½ hour written exam and a 4 hour practical assessment.

Design, Erection and Verification follows on from 2391-01. It is intended for those who will be designing electrical installations. This theory based course will provide the candidate with the necessary knowledge to design and erect an electrical installation. This is a five day course usually delivered over 2-3 months to allow the candidate to complete a design project.

We recruit and train around 35 Clarkson Evans electrical apprentices every year. All apprentices are based at either our head office or one of our regional branches and they attend our training centre in Gloucester for one day a week. An open day usually takes place in February.
