When Pete White wanted to save up for a deposit for a house, he knew the quickest way of achieving his goal would be by relocating to Crawley.

“The amount of work available in that part of the country meant the decision was a ‘no-brainer’ for me,” said the 26-year-old.

Pete moved to the town in April 2015 and was impressed when he arrived. “I was told the relocation package included lots of work, a house and living with good lads and I have to admit, it lived up to the expectations when I got there.”

“Where I live is in a brilliant location, one of the best in Crawley. There are so many shopping centres, leisure parks and restaurants within walking distance.”

“I live with five other lads and our house is just five minutes away from the yard, so there’s no excuse for being late for work!” said the team leader.

Pete, who is originally from our Trowbridge branch, said: “It’s been a great experience living with the lads, you can experience the Uni lifestyle but without the debts.”

“Relocating to Crawley has kick-started my life and it means me and my girlfriend can build a life together. I’ve been working in the town for a year and have already managed to save up around £20,000 for our first home.”

Pete urges others to follow in his footsteps. “Not only is relocating a great way to save up quickly, but for those who are qualifying it’s a great way to experience the responsibility of being a team leader.”
