Congratulations to Daniel Boylett for winning the Outstanding Apprentice in Construction category at the Gloucestershire Apprenticeship Awards 2013.
The award was presented to Daniel, one of our second year apprentices, at Hatherley Manor Hotel last week in front of an audience of apprentices and business leaders from across the county.

Daniel chose the apprenticeship route because he wanted to learn and earn on-the-job.  Since joining Clarkson Evans in 2011, his goal has been to gain the skills needed to climb the ladder and one day become a team leader.  He says, “Winning this award means a lot.  It confirms I made the right career choice and gives me confidence that I’ll be able to reach my goals and pass on my experience to apprentices in the future.”

Our managing director Steve Evans is a strong supporter of Apprenticeships and explains why they are so important to the business:  “By investing in young people we’re growing our next generation of team leaders”, said Steve.  “We always look for people who are keen to forge long-term careers with Clarkson Evans and many previous apprentices have grown with the company, taking on more responsibility and helping us maintain high levels of customer service as we continue to expand”.

Clarkson Evans was well represented at the awards, with Chris Roach and Callum Tompkins also selected as finalists in the construction category.  Well done to all three apprentices for their achievements!
