If you’re an experienced, self-motivated electrician with an in-depth knowledge of domestic installations; then this could be the job for you.

Based at our Stafford branch, you will be visiting our customers’ homes and not only fixing the fault, but also making the visit a positive experience for the customer.

Day to day tasks:

You’ll visit our customers’ homes to rectify faults
Install late extras and alterations to circuits within occupied homes
Provide full reports to help us understand what went wrong and why

Desirable requirements:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
City & Guilds 2382 (relevant 17th Edition or 18th Edition) and 2391 or 2395 (desirable)
JIB Gold card
Excellent people and communication skills
Good understanding of domestic electrical installations, including heating systems.
Calm and logical approach to fault-finding
Ability to carry out repairs to hidden wiring and install additional cables, with the minimum of disturbance.
Good IT and organisational skills
Full driving licence (mandatory)

Holiday allowance is 22 days (plus bank holidays), rising to 26 days after 5 years' service.
Hours - We normally work Monday – Friday, 7am – 5pm, however your hours will vary according to your workload and our customers’ needs, so a flexible attitude is essential.
