Newly Qualified Electricians - Trainee Electrical Surveyor

Gloucester
£18k

If you’ve just completed your apprenticeship or are just about to why not consider a career as an Electrical Surveyor?  You’ll need to be well organised with a faultless eye for detail and great negotiation skills, in return we can offer you a chance to start your career with progression opportunities that could see you working as a Commercial Manager in just a few years.

A typical week will see you pulling together competitive tenders, going out onto site meeting with the UK’s leading house builders, checking that work is progressing well and managing all the commercial aspects of the electrical installations.  You’ll be constantly building relationships with customers, negotiating with developers and always looking at better ways of doing things.

Being part of our Commercial Team means you will be joining a truly high performing team – they work well together and really understand what teamwork means, helping each other out, thinking on their feet and sharing advice and experiences to make sure they are always the best at what they do.  Winning your first site will give you the buzz of achievement, boost your confidence and make you hungry to win more!

  • We’re one of the UK’s largest electrical contractors and our customers include all the UK’s leading house builders.  We’ve got an ambitious 5-year expansion plan to increase our national reach.
  • We believe in building long-term relationships with all our staff, so a passion to build a career with our commercial department is essential.  We look to promote from within and offer pay rises to match.
  • This is not a site-based role and you won’t be expected to work weekends either – we work Monday to Friday – 39 hours a week, finishing early on Friday.
  • We’re a social bunch too – with regular social events, from BBQs to a day at the races.
