We’re looking for a well organised team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude to join our busy customer care team.

We wire homes for the major national house builders and it’s important we respond promptly to calls and enquiries from the customers buying the homes they build. As a customer care administrator, you’ll play a key role in making sure we keep our customers happy and deliver the efficient service they’ve come to expect.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Handling customer care calls, making sure they all get dealt with quickly and that customers receive a first-class service
  • Maintaining regular contact with customers and builders to develop strong working relationships
  • Producing invoices and investigating invoice queries
  • General administration

To be the right person for this role you’ll need:

  • Impressive communication and organisation skills
  • A great telephone manner, combined with confidence to pick up the phone and speak to customers, engineers and homeowners
  • Good attention to detail and a conscientious approach
  • Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook, along with a knack for picking up new software quickly.

Previous office experience is desirable although not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Working hours will be 39 hours a week, based on an 8 hour day, Monday to Thursday and 7 hours on Friday, with an hour for lunch each day. Holiday entitlement starts at 22 days, increasing to 26 days with length of service.
