OVERVIEW

The 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations were published in July 2018. The BS7671 Wiring Regulations are written by the IET (The Institution of Engineering and Technology) setting out standards for electrical installations in the UK.

Now the new 18th Edition Wiring Regulations have been issued, electricians will have six months to get up to speed with the changes. During that time electricians will be able to design, install and certify to either the 17th or 18th Edition standard.

From January 2019 all new electrical installations will have to comply with the updated regulations.

The course covers theory training designed to help you become familiar with the layout, content and use of the new 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. At the end of the course candidates will complete a two hour multiple choice exam.

If you need a basic working knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, this is the course for you.
