1981
Electrician Steve Evans starts SP Evans Electrical in his spare room
The 80’s
Steve’s business expands and he starts employing apprentices
One of them is Steve Clarkson
The early 90’s
The two Steves form Clarkson Evans and start working with more house builders
1999
The Steves open our first purpose-built apprentice training centre
Between 2010 and 2020
New branches and more training centres open across the country
2022
Clarkson Evans acquires a majority stake in Futurelec, now Clarkson Evans Solar
Today
We’re still wiring homes for the UK’s leading housebuilders and we’re diversifying, installing PV and battery storage for new builds and commercial premises
