The latest requirements cover relevant work in areas including:
- Solar photovoltaic (PV) systems
- Electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment
- Electrical energy storage systems
- Periodic inspection and testing
- Electrotechnical experienced worker
From 1 October 2026, relevant Qualified Supervisors and employed persons undertaking work in these categories must meet the applicable qualification requirements for their role and the work covered by their business's certification or registration scheme.
