With roots as a family business, it matters to us that work doesn’t prevent you from being with your loved ones for significant moments such as sports days, parents’ evenings, or opening children’s birthday presents before school. We know that important medical, financial, and legal appointments aren’t always available outside of work hours, and if you’re expecting a delivery to home, evenings and weekends might not be feasible. Talk to your manager if you need to come in late, get away early or move your working hours around for one-off occasions.
We’ll do what we can to support you in difficult times or if the unexpected happens. If you’re affected by money worries, serious illness, problems at home, bereavement or any kind of personal situation, we encourage you to speak to your line manager or our Wellbeing Team.
Everyone’s circumstances are different, and we don’t have ‘one-size-fits-all’ policies for every situation, but it’s in our DNA to offer flexibility when it might be needed.
Our head office is an accredited Healthy Workplace. Wellbeing is championed and supported by our Wellbeing Team and senior leaders who lead by example.
